KTS Sixth Form Quizzes are famous from the A1 to the A505 and F Savill and L Fastier were lucky to report on an absolute classic!
Recently, students at The Knights Templar Sixth Form tested their knowledge and competitive spirit in an exciting quiz. The event, organized by sixth form student council members: Freya, Cerys, Rebecca, Brooke, Sanderson and Jack, brought together friends eager to showcase their expertise in a variety of topics such as general knowledge, music, sports, riddles and fun quirky rounds such as the crisp round where contestants tasted and guessed multiple niche flavours of crisps.
The quiz featured a mix of multiple-choice questions, picture rounds, and interactive challenges, keeping participants on their toes throughout. “It was great fun and a fantastic way to blow off steam,” said Lucy Hughes, a year 12 student.
There was fierce competition from opposing teams, cheating, sabotaging scandals were seen all over the room, However, this did not go unnoticed by our sixth form council supervisors or our conscientious quiz masters, Mrs Unite and Mrs Draper!
The winning team, ‘General Knowlogs’, demonstrated an impressive knowledge of pop culture, securing the top prize of a hamper filled with chocolates and goodies. Interval round winners didn’t go home empty-handed, receiving smaller biscuit prizes and a ginormous teddy bear for their efforts.
“The event was a huge success,” said Head of sixth form Mrs Hopkins, a member of staff overseeing the event. “It was wonderful to see students enjoying themselves and working together.”
The quiz wrapped up and the event left everyone in high spirits, looking forward to the next one…
With the success of this year’s quiz, organizers are already planning ‘The Cracking Easter Quiz’, in March, ensuring that future sixth-formers can enjoy the same festive fun and friendly competition.
It's going to be be a cracking time!
