IN A NUTSHELL
Terraria might be game you’ve heard of. It's an indie game often described as 2D Minecraft although with much more content. It’s not exactly a small game with roughly 44.5 million copies sold making it the 11th most selling video game of all time. It is developed by Re-Logic and it is the second highest game on steam after Portal 2 with 1 million reviews and 97% being positive. It is also a multiplayer game. But although you might have heard of Terraria, you might not know much about it so this is a short article showing you what the game is about and whether it is any good for you.
IS IT ANY GOOD
Terraria might be a bit of a long game but there are four main ways to fight: you can be a mage and use projectiles and mana (magic energy) to damage enemies, summon animals and use whips to target enemies. The gameplay and battles are unique and the bosses have different AI. You can even change AI to harder difficulties! Whether you just want to build or fight the final boss, the choice is yours how to play the game!
BEST THING
In my opinion, the best part of the game is the beginning of hard mode because when it is unleashed, you get access to a new biome. In here you'll get a bunch of items and unique weapons. This is when the game gets really interesting.
WORST THING
The worst part in Terraria is the very beginning of the game because you don’t know a lot about it. It is a bit dull mining ores for gear.
IS IT ANY GOOD?
Overall Terraria is a really good game and due to its gameplay, content and design with unique ideas as well as updating and adding more content frequently. A bonus is that the game even has some secrets! Time to start playing and discover them!
